Your child’s Weighted Vest provides soothing sensory input, as the weight functions as a reassuring deep hug and sensory organizer. The cotton/poly blend is smooth to the touch for children who differently could also be sensory defensive. This weighted vest is ideal for children with autism in addition to those who have sensory processing disorders or ADHD. Weights are safely located in pockets inside the vest and may also be added or got rid of. Vest includes two 1/2 lb. weights and four 1/4 lb. weights for a total of 2 pounds. Additional weights to be had (see accessories tab). Hook and loop closures at the sides in addition to snaps down the front allow for maximum comfort, easy sizing, and quick removal. Age 2+. Use weighted products with guidance from a therapist, and provide adult supervision. Machine washable in cold water.
